I have been quite absent this month from internet. university holidays come to an end and Mr. P and i tried to spent some time together before summer ends and we both will be busy again.
Of course we didn´t miss the Oktoberfest 2009. We even managed to get a place inside the Hippodrom, one of the most popular (and expensive) beer tents. Great time, great music, lot´s of fun!

The time we spent in Munich we also did some sightseeings to the small cities around like Freising, Rosenheim, Bad Aibling... and climbed the Wendelstein. We just tried to spent some happy and filled out days together meeting up with friends or taking short excursions.

i don´t have much pictures to share for you this time cuz i have a new photographing toy.
My new Diana Mini. She´s the small version of the lomography camera Diana F+. I am very excited to get the first film developed.

Me and my girls wish you all happy late october days and a great & fun Halloween time!

i made myself a little birthday present.....

i have a new widget.... my nike+ minime.

My dad got the nike+ sportband for free but didn´t know how it works.

so i snatched it for me. ,) you have a little sensor you clip on your running shoe which connects

with the sportsband around your wrist and counts the kilometers you are running. after your training you can connect the sportsband to your PC via USB and share your training stats with the world. Check out the Nikeplus.com homepage for more information.

I think it´s a great campaign with high motivation because you can share and compete your training with others. Definitely more fun than just running around on your own.

now, i am trying to get a sportsband for Mr.P too so we can run together, although we are more than 800 km apart.

I just finished Christine Wunnicke brand new book: Serenity.

It´s all about a Schoppenhauer-philosophist, who discovers Internet and its blogging community. Grotesque, ironical, funny, thoughtful.... "Is Internet creating people?"

highly recommended, though i doubt it is already available in English.

 

Finished this book in about 4 hours nonstop reading.... going to bed now with "four-squared eyes"

i have been extremly busy with learning the last weeks. Craft supplies always make my soul happy again.

yesterday i found this gorgeous fabrics at our local fleamarket. Got everything for € 9,-, which is actually a fantastic price! It is all high quality cotton fabric and the flower print and light blue fabric are around 4 m huge! i am in LOVE!

i have a weakness for books. Crafting books, cooking books, just a~ll kind of books! My biggest enemy is the book store just around the corner of my work. i tend to spent my lunch break in there.i just can´t resist! so i bought 2 new cook books. And aren´t the little butterfly candles cute? bought them for Mr. P´s mom for easter, cuz i am going to visit them next week. i probably will buy some for myself too, lol.... They have a Polka Dot Pattern!! and they are packed in a cute light blue wooden box!

Now, this is the last snow of the year. Although right now it snows heavily here, it is not cold enough anymore. All the little snowflakes on my window are melting too fast.....It makes me sad to know that winter is coming to an end. I like winter and i had a great time this year.

Well, at least there will be still enough snow to go snowboarding one last time next week. ^_^
