i have a new widget.... my nike+ minime.

My dad got the nike+ sportband for free but didn´t know how it works.

so i snatched it for me. ,) you have a little sensor you clip on your running shoe which connects

with the sportsband around your wrist and counts the kilometers you are running. after your training you can connect the sportsband to your PC via USB and share your training stats with the world. Check out the Nikeplus.com homepage for more information.

I think it´s a great campaign with high motivation because you can share and compete your training with others. Definitely more fun than just running around on your own.

now, i am trying to get a sportsband for Mr.P too so we can run together, although we are more than 800 km apart.

ok... so by now, everybody can see, i haven´t done anything yet ,)

That sounds like a great idea Getting one for Mr.P...then it will be like being just a bit closer to each other. And like anything that could give incentive to jog or run or power walk! Although depending on the person using it some times people just use it for its new novelty they put it in a pile with other. But it dose sound like a great tool all I have is a pedometer to tell how many footsteps I am taking because I have to be more fit.
What a great device that sounds to be, I will never run again in my life but I could see how it would be a great tool to help in running and a great way to feel just a bit closer to Mr. P .......

That is so cool.
